Poise, Posture and Balance

Jenny Goodwin, Teacher of the Alexander Technique, offers classes that contribute to health and wellbeing; drawing on both Alexander technique and the practices of Qi Gong and Mindfulness.

In each class we will learn simple movements designed to widen your awareness and lift the spirits. Movements* are slow, gentle and graceful, and can increase your sense of poise and equilibrium whilst improving your posture and balance.

At the end of each class there will be period of constructive rest and this can be done seated of lying on the floor. This can really recharge the batteries and help recover from the pressures of daily life.

*Movements can be learnt standing or seated.
